How Absurd

Once as a man I dreamt
All there is, was heaven sent

I dreamt of flying like a bird
Daftest thing you ever heard

I dreamt another land maybe
Across the vastness of the sea

I dreamt of man forever free
No more slaves there ever be

I dreamt of food enough for all
Equal share be they rich or poor

I dreamt that some day soon
We could travel to the moon

However, a dream is just a dream
Never to be realized, so it seems

At least that's what I heard
Dream and truth, how absurd.
