Invisible Friend
I have a friend very close to me.
That mum and dad cannot see.
They keep saying it cannot be.
If it were, they too would see.
Mum, she had a friend like me.
But now she's far too old to see.
An invisible friend it cannot be.
Her mum told her, as she did me.
Mum and I, we sometimes play.
Silly games in a childish way.
My friend was there one day.
Asking, if another could play.
Mum realized, she too could see.
My friend, and no it couldn't be.
It is, my friend, she cried to me.
Please tell me, that you also see.
Mum and I, we sometimes play.
Silly games in a childish way.
