Beliefs are a deeply personal thing and no one belief is an all encompassing truth that supersedes all others. Where as I have the deepest respect for most beliefs the same cannot be said for some of their followers. So I say judge not another's belief spend your time making sure you truly understand and follow your own. It is the human element within a belief system that fails it. History has shown where and how man has twisted their beliefs to suit personal agendas. There are as many paths to a persons God as there are souls trying to find enlightenment and our own path is just one those, not "the path". If as much effort was put into sticking to our own path as there is trying to dictate to others that "they should follow it", we would reach our journeys end a lot quicker. It matters not whether you have a single God or many, whether it or they have a humanoid form or not, what they are called, if these things are important to you, you are missing the very essence of your journey. If your belief can be threatened by others then it is your lack of belief that is the problem not another's belief. If a God does truly exist what makes us think that it needs man to speak it words and do it deeds? surely it would be capable of speaking to each and every one of us. Perhaps God does but we rather push the responsibility of listening onto others. Ask yourself a question "Do you already know the answer within yourself when a choice has to be made"? Most of the time we seek confirmation of what we already know or to shift the responsibility for not doing what we know we should.
I can assure you that no God has ever called for blood to be shed, however God has been blamed so man does not have to accept responsibility for his actions. When studying any belief system remember it is only mans interpretation of Gods words or what path should be followed and as such suffers from that interpretation. There will always be human failings with those words so one must seek the truth out, not accept blindly. Trust the God within you and have the strength to believe in yourself because this is your path. Others may journey along the same route but their footsteps are unique. I wish you every success on your chosen path and perhaps when we reach journeys end we can share our experiences. It is the getting there which is important not the route you take.
I will not comment on individual beliefs because I strongly believe in a persons right to follow a belief of their own choosing and that choice should be free from outside influence. I long for the day when everybody's belief is of such a strength that it cannot be threatened by another's. When that day comes war will be confined to the history books and man will become truly free.
