Science plays an important part in my belief system however it only plays a part, it is not the whole of my belief system. Although many would like you to believe it is, science is not an exact art. History teaches us that many scientific facts change over time. Science fact may become science fiction and science fiction scientific fact. Modern science has become fairly stable allowing us to dismiss many past beliefs. It cannot however answer every question asked of it. Just because something cannot be proven is in itself not proof that it does not exist or cannot happen. What we have is a maybe, even unlikely but not proof positive and science cannot say it has never been wrong. I personally like to keep an open mind in these areas but not a gullible one. My personal experience is such that science cannot provide me with all the answers I need and I am not going to dismiss my personal experiences simply because science cannot explain them.
Supernatural and Paranormal are not terms I agree with, they are merely areas of the normal yet to be explained. There are many areas of modern life that would have been considered supernatural / paranormal in the past. In the future much of what we consider supernatural / paranormal now will be explainable taking them into the realms of normal.
